Shamu Theater
The Theater can sit up to 5,000 people and offers a two story tall video display screen; perfect for that CEO welcoming or awards ceremony. After enjoying a thrilling Private Shamu Show, enjoy dinner under the Texas sky at Shamu Theater. This spacious outdoor area is surrounded by exquisite landscaping and large oak trees. This location is ideal for buffet type style dinners and receptions.

Sharks and Coral Reef
The most requested venue for dinner parties and receptions is by no doubt SeaWorld San Antonio’s Sharks/The Coral Reef. You and your guests can marvel at the thousands of Indo-Pacific fish that inhabit this man-made 300,000-gallon recreated reef. Adjacent is a 450,000-gallon exhibit of more than five species of sharks from around the world. Smaller exhibits feature jellyfish as well as a wide variety of tropical fish that make great conversation starters for your guests.
This area can be used for a plated or buffet-type dinner. Use the Plaza area for receptions and include feeding bottled-nose dolphins at Dolphin Cove.

Seaside Landing

Compass Rose Plaza
They say first impressions are what makes or breaks the event. Make your evening an unforgettable one with a reception or dinner surrounding the beautiful Compass Rose fountain. Enjoy an unforgettable event alongside the stunning crystal entryway at SeaWorld San Antonio in the Compass Rose Plaza. Beautiful foliage and oak trees surround the area. Enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and music as your guests mingle around the fountain and soak up the atmosphere.

Castaway Café
This area incorporates breathtaking views of the Texas Hill Country and overlooks the Lost Lagoon waterpark. Its spacious area can accommodate groups for banquets, themed parties, receptions and dances.
The sky’s the limit with this venue. Great themed parties such as 50’s & 60’s, retro, tropical, down home barbecues and even black tie events have all been successful themes in this tropical paradise.
A large stage, microphone and podium are available for your favorite band or DJ and can be used for presentations and speeches.

The Wave Wash in Lost Lagoon
Make your next reception or company dinner in the middle of a tropical paradise. This area features palm trees and tropical plants as well as a huge wave pool. Drink cocktails and eat hors d’oeuvres as you hear the waves crashing on the sandy beach.
Host your next event as a luau, complete with a steel drum band and Polynesian dancers. This location is great for dinners or receptions. If your group is larger than allowed, hold a reception here and use The Castaway Café, which is adjacent to the Lost Lagoon, for your dinner site.

Island at Castaway

SeaStar Market
A special effects theater, the Sea Star Theater is the perfect place to host your next large offsite meeting. Offering large screen presentation and video capabilities, the Theater comes equipped with microphone and podium to complete your meeting. The plaza area can be used for breakout sessions or dinner. All meetings must include breakfast or lunch.

Boardwalk Game Center
It’s a street party when you have your meeting at the Great White Games Center. Named for our signature Great White Roller Coaster which towers above the facility, this climate-controlled area has games of chance and skill that can be used for team building, fundraisers or just plain fun. Five free game bucks are given to each person in attendance when this venue is purchased.
The Games Center can be used in conjunction with several rides in the area to give you the feeling of a boardwalk-like atmosphere. Incorporate a DJ or a live band for dancing in the streets.
